‘Lockdown’ extended again
The government has decided to extend the tenure of ‘lockdown’ till May 30 considering the ongoing coronavirus situation in the country.
Now inter-district bus services have been allowed to ply after abiding by the health safely guidelines. Besides, from now people have been allowed to take their foods sitting at the hotels and restaurants.
A circular has been issued by the cabinet division on Sunday after extending the tenure of restrictions imposed by the government.
The eight-day ‘lockdown’ began from 6 am on April 14 to curb the transmission of coronavirus in the country. 13 directions were given to control the movement of people and transport. Later the tenure of ‘strict restrictions’ was extended by four phases. It was scheduled to conclude tonight. Now it has been extended till May 30 starting from May 24.
