Educational institutions to reopen on May 23

The education ministry has decided to reopen the educational institutions on May 23 which had been closed for a long period due to Covid-19 pandemic. The decision was taken by the ministry on Thursday evening.

An official present in the meeting said, the decision has been taken as corona contraction increases in the recent time. All the educational institutions in the country have been closed since March 17 last year. It was scheduled that those will be opened on March 30. But the final decision has been taken to reopen the institutions after Eid ul Fitr.

Earlier on Thursday after participating a discussion meeting Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said that in this risky situation teachers, students and guardians will not be allowed to put them in any kind of risk.
