Decision on reopening of educational institutions tomorrow

Educational institutions may be reopened after long nine months of closure. Classroom teaching activities may be resumed in limited secondary level schools to make the SSC candidates prepared and to complete the syllabus.

There is a scheduled virtual press conference of Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni. There the announcement may come, said the education ministry source.

The information was confirmed by the Public Relations and Information Officer of the education ministry Md. Abul Khayer.

He said, a press conference has been called on Thursday over the matter of reopening or extending the vacation of educational institutions. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni will uphold the matter of new decision to the newsmen.

Recently at a press conference the education minister extended the leave for two weeks and said, it is under observation whether some educational institutions can be reopened to complete the syllabus of next year’s SSC candidates.

After reopening some schools SSC syllabus will be completed for the next year after abiding by the health guidelines. After completing syllabus a test examination will be taken. It will help the SSC candidates to build confidence for appearing in the final examinations. If anyone does not want then he or she will be allowed to sit for examinations in next year.
