Mayor Ivy will return home within three days

The physical condition of Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy is better at present. She will be released from the hospital within two or three days.

The Labaid hospital authority said this at a press conference on Saturday night.

Senior Consultant (Cardiologist) of the hospital Dr. Boren Chakrabarty said, the condition of Ivy is not only stable but also better at the moment. With what kind of specific complications she came to the hospital are getting better. An internal wound was created in her rear part of head due to stroke. We have examined and observed for the last several days whether her condition would turn stable or worse. After all observations her condition has turned into stable.

He also said, she will be shifted from Intensive Care Unit to cabin on Sunday. She will also be released from the hospital within two or three days. We will advise her to visit the physician after 10 to 15 days again.

Mayor Ivy suddenly became sick at her office in Narayanganj on Thursday and then was admitted to Labaid hospital in Dhaka on the same day.
