Educational institutions in affected areas closed on Monday

State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief, Muhibur Rahman said all educational institutions in the cyclone affected areas will remain closed on Monday (May 27).

He said this at a press conference organized by the Meteorological Department on Sunday night (May 26).

Muhibur Rahman said all educational institutions were closed on Monday (May 27). However, the employees have been instructed to stay in the educational institution full-time.

The state minister said there are 9,000 shelter centres, which are enough for the coastal people. Apart from this, educational institutions have been prepared. The food arrived at shelter centres a day earlier.

Muhibbur Rahman said two people have been reported dead so far due to the cyclone.
