Dr. Yunus gets bail

The Chairman of Grameen Telecom got bail in the case of embezzlement and embezzlement of Tk. 25 crore of workers' welfare fund. Md. Yunus and the remaining 13 accused got bail.

On Thursday (May 2), Dhaka's Special Judge Court-4, Judge Syed Arafat Hossain's court granted the bail. On this day, the date of hearing is scheduled from the charge of this case, which is discussed about money embezzlement. Earlier in the morning, Dr. Yunus applied for conditional bail. After that, he reached the court at 11.20 am to appear in this case.

Incidentally, on May 30 of last year, Dr. Yunus was accused of embezzling Tk. 25 crore 22 Lakh 6 Thousand and 640 of the workers' welfare fund of Grameen Telecom. ACC filed a case against 13 people including Muhammad Yunus. Gulshan Anwar, deputy director of the organization, filed the case as the main plaintiff.
