The first phase of the sixth upazila polls will be held on May 8. On the same day, National University's 2022 Honors Third year exam is scheduled to begin. In this situation, the Election Commission (EC) has directed the university authorities to postpone the scheduled exams. EC has already sent a letter in this regard to the VC of the university.

According to the letter, the polling of the first phase of the sixth Upazila Parishad election will be held on May 8. 2022 Honors Third year exam is scheduled to begin May 8 also. Second, third and fourth phase elections are scheduled on May 21, May 29 and June 5. Educational institutions will be used as polling stations on polling day. Besides, teachers, officers/employees of various educational institutions have been appointed as polling officers.

Since it is not possible to conduct the polling and exam on the same day, the Hon'ble Election Commission has decided to change the exam schedule and schedule it on another date instead of May 8, May 21, May 29 and June 5.
