The ninth edition of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup is knocking at the door. This time 20 teams will play in this tournament including Bangladesh.

Tawhid Hridoy is one of the members of the Bangladesh team in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Tiger management will arrange the top order by keeping this right-handed batter in the plan. Hridoy wants to see the Bangladesh team in the World Cup semi-finals even after losing two matches badly against the United States.

He also played in the last ODI World Cup where Bangladesh didn’t performed well. Team Bangladesh won just two matches in the whole tournament. 'Before the 2023 World Cup, I batted elsewhere in the batting order. I always played above. But when I suddenly batted down at No.6 and No. 7 in the 2023 World Cup, it was difficult for me to adjust. I still tried to contribute to the team with whatever the team asked of me. Yes, I couldn't do much in some matches,' the player added.

Tawhid Hrido won the U19 World Cup trophy. He also shares his dream to win trophies for national team accordingly. 'I can still open my eyes and feel what we did at that time (U19 World Cup),' he said remembering the tournament.

There is no alternative to hard work. If our team improve the skill from our place, InshaAllah we will surely make a place in semifinals, Hridoy further said.
