'Shakib is recovering quickly'
Shakib did long conversation with national team coaches. Despite not being available for the only Test match against Afghanistan, Shakib has expressed his eagerness to return to the field.
On Thursday morning, june 08, Shakib Al Hasan arrives at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket stadium to conduct his fitness training.
Dr Debashis Chowdhury, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief physician, stated that Shakib's finger injury is healing rapidly.
Due to finger injury, regular captain Shakib Al Hasan is not included in the Test squad. However, he is doing his fitness work during the national team practice sessions.
BCB chief physician Debashis Chowdhury mentioned that Shakib is recovering quickly from the injury.
Mr. Debashis said, "Shakib's finger is now in good condition. He had a fracture in his finger but after X-ray examination, I am pleased with his progress."
Shakib suffered from a finger injury to his right hand's finger while attempting a catch during the Ireland series at Malahide. His finger was fractured. From that series, he will be out of the field for six weeks.
