Housewife gets death for killing Bangladeshi housemaid in KSA

A Saudi Arabian housewife named Ayesha Al Zizani was awarded death sentence in connection with the murder case of Bangladeshi housemaid Most. Abiron Begum in Saudi Arabia. Riyadh criminal court delivered the verdict on Sunday.

The court delivered the verdict of ‘Kisas’ (life instead of life) against Ayesha for specifically and willingly committing murder. The court also awarded householder Basem Salem three years and two months of imprisonment and also fined him 50 thousand Saudi riyal over the allegations of destroying evidences, sending Abiron to different places for work and for not providing treatment to her. The court did not find any specific evidence of cooperation for the murder against the Saudi couple’s teenage son Walid Basem Salem. But the court ordered for sending Walid to juvenile correction center over the allegation of none cooperation to Abiron in different ways. The court also said that appeal against the verdict should be made within 30 days.

Mentionable, Abiron Begum died after torture by the Saudi housewife at Azizia in Riyadh on March 24, 2019. Later in the forensic report it was mentioned as a murder.
