Mercury drops to 10.2°C in Chuadanga, Naogaon

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) recorded a temperature of 10.2°C in both Chuadanga and Naogaon’s Badalgacchi, marking it as the lowest temperature registered in the country on Wednesday (Jan 10) morning.

The districts of Chuadanga and Naogaon recorded the lowest temperature in Bangladesh on Wednesday, the met office has said, as a mild to moderate cold wave sweeps across the country.

The BMD's latest bulletin indicates that there will be moderate to thick fog from midnight to morning, which may persist till noon in some areas.

This foggy condition could temporarily disrupt air navigation, inland river transport as well as road communication.

The weather is expected to remain dry, with temporary partly cloudy skies.
