MP Anwarul Azim Anar: How to kill

Member of Parliament of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Anwarul Azim Anar has been the victim of a planned and brutal murder in Calcutta, India.

According to police sources, Anar was murdered and dismembered in a flat in Newtown between 12:40 PM to 12:50 PM on May 13. The killing took less than 10 minutes. At least five people directly participated in the killing mission. After that, for three days from May 16 to 18, the flesh fragments were moved elsewhere. Besides, some pieces of the body were recovered from the fridge and plastic bag of flat number 56 of BU block. The flesh fragments are believed to have been dumped in plastic bags at various locations.

Police have also seized the car number WB18 AA 5473 used in the killing of MP Anwarul Azim Anar. After checking CCTV footage and identifying the vehicle, it was brought to Newtown police station along with the owner. Forensic and fingerprint experts collected samples from the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the mastermind behind MP Anna's murder is his childhood friend and business partner Aktaruzzaman Shaheen. He is a resident of Jhenaidah and a US citizen. Shaheen's brother is the mayor of Kotchandpur municipality in Jhenaidah. Another friend and extremist leader, Amanullah Aman, was tasked with planning and executing this murder. Aktaruzzaman Shaheen wanted to pay five crore rupees to kill Anar. Aman was given some money before the murder. The rest of the money was supposed to be paid after the murder.

It is known that Shaheen came to Bangladesh after drawing the final tableau of the murder sitting in Calcutta. Later, six people including Aman called MP Azim in a trap called Sanjiba Garden. He was then taken hostage and killed by burying a pillow. Later, the body was cut into pieces and put in a trolley bag at an unknown location. After the mission was successful, Aman moved to Dhaka with the responsibility of Siam and Jihad to hide the pieces of Anar's body. He came to Dhaka and met Aktaruzzaman Shaheen. However, it is not known how much money Shaheen later gave to Aman.

Wari Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested three people on suspicion of involvement in this murder. They are Amanullah Aman, Mostafiz and Faisal, the leader of the extremist party East Bengal Communist Party, who directly participated in the murder.

In the interrogation of the detective police, Aman said that Aktaruzzaman Shaheen wanted to pay 5 crore Tk. to kill MP Anwarul Azim Anar.

He was paid some money before the murder. The rest of the money was supposed to be paid after the murder. After coming to Dhaka, Aman was hiding in his sister's house in Mohammadpur. He was arrested from there.

Incidentally, on May 12, MP Anwarul Azim Anar went to India through Darshana-Gede border for treatment. Going there, he stayed at the house of his close Indian friend Gopal Biswas, a gold merchant, resident of Malpara Lane, Baranagar Police Station, North 24 Pargana District, West Bengal. The next day, May 13, at noon, he went out to see the doctor. But even though he was supposed to return in the evening, he did not return. On the contrary, he went to Delhi and sent a message on WhatsApp from there saying Gopal not to call him. He will call him (Gopal Biswas) if needed. But since then he has not been found on the phone. Anxiety naturally spreads in Anar's home in Bangladesh. Besides, Gopal Biswas also got worried. After that, Gopal Biswas filed a missing complaint at Baranagar police station on Saturday, May 18.

Gopal Biswas wrote in GD, Anwarul Azim Anar left my house after 01:30 in the afternoon on May 13. When leaving, he say, 'I will not eat at noon, I will come back in the evening.' While going, he called a car and got into the car from Baranagar Bidhan Park Kolkata Public School. Then in the evening he sent a message on Gopal's WhatsApp without returning to Mandalpara Lane under Baranagar police station. 'I am going to Delhi on special work. I will go and call you, you don't need to call.' says Anar.

Gopal Biswas also wrote in the missing diary, last May 15 at around 11:30 pm, MP Anwarul Azim messaged on WhatsApp and said, 'I have reached Delhi, I have VIPs with me, no need to call.'

Meanwhile, a case has been registered at the Sher E Bangla Nagar police station in the capital regarding the murder of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim Anar.

On Wednesday (May 22), MP Anar's daughter Muntarin Ferdous Doreen filed the case of kidnapping. However, it did not mention anyone's name. In the evening, the case was registered at the Sher E Bangla Nagar police station, said the officer in charge of the police station, Ahad Ali.
