7 new members likely to take oath to join cabinet

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has decided to add some new members to the cabinet. For this, seven more people have been invited to Bangabhaban to take oath.

The oath-taking ceremony will be held in at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1. This information has been found from the sources of the Cabinet Division.

The list new faces those who will be included in the cabinet are- Shahiduzzaman Sarker MP from Naogaon-2 constituency, Md. Abdul Wadud from Rajshahi-5, Nazrul Islam Chowdhury from Chittagong-14, Begum Rokeya Sultana from reserved seats for women, Begum Shamsun Nahar from reserved seats, Begum Waseqa Ayesha Khan from reserved seats, and Begum Nahid Izhar Khan from reserved seats, according to some sources.

Earlier, The 12th parliamentary elections were held on January 7. Awami League formed the government for the fourth consecutive time after winning the election.
