Bangladesh enforce follow-on for the first time

Bangladesh dismissed West Indies for 111 in their first innings of the second Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.

The West Indies were bowled out in less than an hour's play after beginning the third day at 75-5.

Taking 397-run lead, the Tigers asked the opposition to follow on for the first time in Bangladesh history. In the first innings, the hosts made 508.

Shakib Al Hasan took the last wicket to finish with 3-27 while off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed a career-best 7-58.

Earlier, the visitors lost their top five wickets in 29 runs. They lost their last five wickets just in 36 runs when Miraz scalped three and Shakib bagged two.
