The discussion about organizing the Asia Cup in Pakistan does not stop. India has objected to playing the Asia Cup in Pakistan due to political animosity. India has also not responded to Pakistan's offer to host the Asia Cup in a hybrid model at a neutral venue.

So, this time Pakistan has threatened to boycott the upcoming ODI World Cup in India.

On Monday, May 15, according to Reuters, Pakistan will not be able to play in the World Cup-2023 in India if India does not participate in the Asia Cup.

In an interview given to Reuters, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi said, "India wants all matches at neutral venues. BCCI should take logical decision. India should not create a situation where we have to boycott the Asia Cup and World Cup. It will make the situation worse."

Sethi is worried about the security of pakistani players on Indian soil. In this context, he said, "There is concern about the security to our team in India as well. So, let Pakistan play in Dhaka, UAE or Sri Lanka. Now this is the solution, until India agrees to play a bilateral series with Pakistan in or outside Pakistan's soil."

Although the ICC has intervened in this issue at various times, it has not been able to find any practical solution.
