BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, in the country who to whom has given the rights of extrajudicial killings? If anybody commits crime then he or she has to be punished by the court. Extrajudicial killing has to be stopped.

He said this while delivering his speech at a gathering organized by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in front of Khilgaon Taltala Market in the capital on Wednesday.

The BNP Secretary General said, there is no rule of law in the country. Rights of writing are being snatched away, people are being arrested under Digital Security Act. He urged the ruling party to stop these and manage to hold a national election under neutral government.

Mirza Fakhrul said, people are being tortured by the Awami League government. The opposition leaders and activists are being forcefully disappeared. After the entire odd situation we have to stand on our feet.
