The charming place which decorate the NSTU 101 acres

Noakhali Science and Technology University is situated on the western side of Sonapur-Subarnachar road, eight kilometers south of Noakhali district town, which cover an area of ​​101 acres.


Gradually, among the few universities in the country that are becoming popular and quite advanced due to their own beauty and individuality, this university is famous as coastal Oxford. This 101-acre campus, which occupies the second place in science and technology, has several places that are always popular with students. The students of this university have also given beautiful and unpleasant names to the places in love. Where thousands of stories are written every day.


These are Santiniketan, Mainar Dwip, Neeldighi, Prashanthi Park, Couple Road, London Road, Prembanchito Road, Hatashar Mor, Gol Chatwar, Backlog Forest, Manosarani are among the places. These places of NSTU campus are vivid witnesses of the daily happenings of the students.


Shantiniketan: The most popular place for students of the university is called 'Shantiniketan'. This wilderness is always buzzing with chatter, music, and noise. Four small shops, a cafe, wooden benches spread around, this Shantiniketan is built in the shade of rows of trees. The campus is surrounded by the misty winter morning, the rainy days, the guest birds of Mainar Dwip and the flowers in autumn. Santiniketan is one of the heart of abundance enjoyment.


Mainer Dwip: A body of water located on the north-west side of NSTU, where various forms of biodiversity are depicted. During the rainy season, the place is filled to the brim with all kinds of fish. As winter approaches, every year thousands of guest birds from the northern winter regions of Siberia, Mongolia, Nepal, India and other parts of the world flock to the Maina Dwip.


Nildighi: There are about thirty benches made of brick-cement around the pond. Love couples are seen in this place more often. There are two ghats with stairs on the north and south side of Nildighi. Images of student celebrations, birthday parties, BBQ parties etc. can be seen on the bank of Dighi.


Couple Road: NSTU Couple road is famous for university couples. After noon, couples can be seen walking here in pairs dressed in saree-punjabi.


Prembanchit Road: A road built during the corona period in NSTU. Behind the central library, this road ends behind the administrative building. Campus singles named this place Prembanchit Road.


Prashanthi Park: Located behind the auditorium building, Prashanthi Park is lined with slender trees. A cool environment always prevails under the shade of trees. It’s also e dwelling place for students, there sing and story sessions can be seen here.


Gol Chatwar: Entering through the main gate of Noakhali Science and Technology University, this gol chatwar can be seen in front of the administrative building. Someone sits here and counts the waiting time for the red-blue bus. Someone waiting for friends, girlfriends, lovers. Some or all forget their fatigue and come in groups to chat.


London Road: The road leading from the gol chatwar towards VC Bungalow is called London Road, with skyscraper Trees on both sides. The road is very clean and smooth.


Hatashar Mor: Hatashar Mor located at the junction of Abdus Salam Hall Road and Library Building Road. Where 12 years ago the footsteps of campus boys used to come and stop, it became a familiar place for lovers' last meeting of a day.


Backlog forest: Backlog forest is the dense figure of trees behind Santiniketan. Since the inception of the university, students who have failed in their semester exams spend their time here.


Manosarni: Manosarni is built around a clearing of trees in the middle of the backlog forest. It is similar to Macha in rural Bengal. The place is quite popular with students for the ceremony of smearing the person of a bride or bride-groom with turmeric preparatory to marriage and birthday celebrations.
