Directorate publishes notice regarding tuition fee for educational institutions

The secondary and higher education directorate has directed the secondary educational institutions of the country to refund the additional fees except the tuition fee taken from the students till March 18. The direction will be applicable for MPO and Non-MPO nongovernment secondary educational institutions covered by the directorate.

The information was delivered through a press release signed by secondary and higher education directorate Director General Professor Dr. Syed Md. Golam Faruk.

The notice said, the nongovernment secondary educational institutions (MPO affiliated and Non-MPO) under the directorate will receive tuition fee from the students. But will not charge any fee regarding assignment, tiffin, readmission, library, laboratory, magazine and development purpose or will refund the amount if taken or will perform adjustment with the tuition fee.

The notice also said, the authority of the educational institution will specially consider the matter of children’s tuition fee if any guardian falls victim of severe financial crisis. Mentionable, the concerned should be caring so that students can continue their student life without any hassle.

If Covid-19 situation does not improve into a normal stage then at the beginning of 2021 the educational institutions will not charge any fee regarding tiffin, readmission, library, laboratory, magazine or development purpose and will not spend the allocation for specific purpose for the students. If the situation improves then logical fees can be charged like the previous period.
