Eight get ‘Joya Enlightened Women’ award

The popular private television channel Rtv has paid honor to eight majestic women on the occasion of international women’s day.
In a gorgeous program held at Pan Pacific Hotel Sonargaon on Friday evening the honor was given to the women for their role in different fields for the sixth time.
The recipients of ‘Joya Enlightened Women-2018’ honor are: Professor Dr. Sayeba Akter in medical science, Shahin Samad in music, Rubi Rahman in literature, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum in social service, Mouluda Khanam in Arts, Parvin Mahmud FCA in women’s empowerment, Nasrin Sultana in challenging occupation and Ankhi Khatun in sports.
In his welcome speech in the program Rtv Chairman Alhaj Morshed Alam MP said, the half of the world population is women and the rest is men. Women are contributing for social development in different ways. Rtv is very delighted to provide honor to these majestic women. Thanks to all who have patronized the event.
In the program Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said, the women of the country are moving ahead keeping pace with the world. Our Prime Minister is a woman. She always pays emphasize on the matter of women development. Women are operating planes, driving trains and where they are not available? They are performing their duties in the parliament with dignity. Beside huge number of women are working in the garments sector.
He also said, everybody beyond party and opinion should have to come forward to act against women repression. Women should have to be encouraged for making their way easy. The country will move forward along with the development of women.
Reputed singer Abida Sultana performed songs in the ‘Joya Enlightened Women-2018’ program. Dances were performed by Nipun, Mehzabin Chowdhury, Safa Kabir and Toya. A fashion runway also was decorated based on love letters of world’s famous 8 couples.

Babita reveals the reason behind her absence in the film industry
Babita is a renowned actress of Bangladesh. Her beauty and performence still feels appealing. She has given many hit movies in her career. However, this actress who once flourished in the film industry is no longer seen on the silver screen. Babita revealed the reason.
Recently, Babita talked about various issues of film in a media of the country. At that time, the actress said, my fans will be able to see me again on the screen if there is a chance. She also said that, "If a story is made based on me, I will definitely act. I can never say goodbye to acting."
She said, "Currently I am not used to doing the roles that I am asked for. Meanwhile I got an offer to do a movie with Shakib Khan. That movie was supposed to be shot in America, Canada. But I did not agree. Because I don't want to play the role of a mother only."
"In our neighbouring countries, Amitabh Bachchan is playing central roles even at this age. Sridevi played the lead role even before her death. But this scenario is very rare in our country.
Everyone thinks that, when we get old, we do not get any role except the character of parents. That's why I am away from the movie. If the story is good and heart-touching, the audience will definitely see me again in the cinema." The actress added.
Incidentally, Babita was last seen in Nargis Akhter's 'Putro Ekhon Poishawala' movie.
However, she assured that if she gets chance to play any central role in a movie in future, she will surely act in it.
Paper Rhyme vocalist Saad is no more
Ahmed Saad, the lead vocalist of the country's popular band Paper Rhyme, has passed away at the age of 52 after a prolonged battle with cancer. He died at a private hospital in the capital on Tuesday night (April 23) around 12 o'clock.
It is known that Saad was suffering from cancer for a long time. He had a heart attack three days ago and admitted to United Hospital. He suffered another heart attack on Tuesday morning. Later the attending physician declared him dead.
The news of the singer's death was confirmed by his school friend and Paper Rhyme band member Anindya Kabir Abhik. He said, 'Saad was suffering from cancer for several years. Sometimes he recovered a bit but a few months ago, cancer spread throughout his body.'
The funeral of Saad is expected to take place on Thursday (April 25), but the matter will be finalised from his family.
In the 90s, the band Paper Rhyme captured the hearts of listeners by releasing only one album. The band was well known for their unique lyrics and compositions in genres such as hard, melodic, and soft rock. Their songs like "Andhokar Ghore", "Akasher Ki Rong", and "Elomelo" became particularly top favorite songs of the audience.
In 1996, the band Paper Rhyme's first album was released under the banner of Soundtek. Basically, the band was formed by some school friends on January 24, 1992. Its lineup consisted of Saad on vocals, Rashed on guitar, Nasir on keyboards, Sumon on beige guitar, and Abhik on drums.
Vidya got addicted to smoking

Aamir opened up about the shooting of that nude scene
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is standing on the railway track with an old model radio covering his private area. He is seen in the same look in the poster of 'PK' movie. This movie made a storm in the box office after its release. Recently Aamir shared his experience of shooting in that scene.

Aamir, in his recent interview on The Great Indian Kapil Show recalled the challenges he faced while filming the radio scene. The actor said, 'On the shooting day, I wore shorts. I came out with the radio. Rajkumar Hirani said that no phone can be kept on the set. So everyone's phone was taken away. At the scene I started running. When I was walking, it was okay. But whenever I started running...I laugh.'
Aamir said, 'When I started running, the shorts come off because it was fixed by tape. I faced a lot of difficulty in that shot. I tried to run fast, but I couldn't. After one or two attempts, I told the maker, 'Hatta yaar' (Let’s remove it). I wanted to give the perfect shot. So I chucked it aside. I told everyone to go far behind the camera. Then I started running.'
He further added, 'I used to think that it would be really weird to walk naked on the set. We are not used to it. I used to feel anxious about how I would do it. Everyone was watching. I was feeling very embarrassed. When I came on the set, I just wanted to work, and my shot was getting messed up. So I told Rajkumar, 'These are unimportant things. What’s the big deal if you see me naked? We need to get the shot.' I didn’t feel embarrassed at that time. I was also shocked that I did it.'
Shakib Al Hasan lashes out at Zayed Khan

Accused in attacking Salman Khan's house firing commits suicide
The Mumbai Police recently arrested two people accused of firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's house.
According to the Mumbai police, Anuj Thapan was seen with serious injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon (May 1).
A Times of India report says, one of the accused, Anuj Thapan, tried to commit suicide in police custody on Wednesday (May 1) afternoon. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. On April 14, Thapan was accused of supplying the weapon used in the firing outside the Bollywood actor Salman’s Galaxy Apartments.
Apart from this, three more accused named Vicky Gupta (24), Sagar Pal (21), Sonu Kumar Chander Bishnoi (37) were arrested in connection with this case. who were accused of firing outside Salman's house, are in police custody.
They were arrested after they were caught on CCTV footage while leaving the area on a motorcycle on the night of the incident.
First meeting with Anjan Dutt, Chanchal expresses his excitement
