The trouble with the election of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association is not going away. After 25 days of being garlanded with flowers, actress Nipun Akhter filed a writ in the court. FDC is uproarious about this. 19 film-related organizations have called for a meeting on Nipun's case. It is known that an important meeting of Shilpi Samiti with 18 organizations will be held at FDC on Wednesday (May 22) afternoon.

In this meeting, it is heard that strict decisions will be taken against Nipun, including the irregularities of Star Cineplex. Some people say that the decision to boycott Nipun will come.

An hour and a half before the start of the meeting, tension is visible in the FDC. There are marches and protests against Nipun. Ordinary artists are chanting slogans in FDC premises. Demonstrators held banners and demanded exemplary punishment for Nippon.

On April 19, the Bi-annual election of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association was held in a joyful and festive atmosphere. This time, Misha Saudagar was elected as president and Manowar Hossain Dipzal as general secretary. First of all, the defeated general secretary candidate Nipun Akhtar congratulated the new committee president and general secretary.

Despite being a rival of Dipzal as general secretary, Nipun expressed a lot of excitement to the media as she got votes close to him. The swearing ceremony of the newly-elected committee was also completed long ago. But currently Nippon is walking in the opposite direction. She claimed that the election of artists association was not fair. The actress has filed a writ in the High Court seeking cancellation of the new committee.
