Arrested 62 in DMP's anti-drug drive

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 62 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs in various areas in the capital.

During the operation, 12.2 grams heroin, 105 bottles Phensedyl, 34 kg 464 grams cannabis, 21,609 pieces of Yaba, 10 grams ice and 50 injections were recovered.

As part of Dhaka Metropolitan Police's regular anti-narcotics operation, raids were conducted in various places in the capital.

45 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the arrested in the concerned police stations.
