3 Rohingyas killed in ‘gunfight’ with BGB; 3 lakh yaba recovered

Three Rohingyas were killed in an alleged gunfight with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members at Ukhiya in Cox’s Bazar. BGB claimed that they recovered three lakh pieces of yaba tablets and arms.

The incident of gunfight took place at Tulatoli area under Rajapalang union in Ukhiya at around 4 am on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Nur Alam (45), Md. Hamid (25) and Nazir Hossain (25).

Commander of Cox’s Bazar-34 BGB Ali Haider Azad Ahmed confirmed the information saying that all the deceased were drug traders.
