Mentionable, the DU student boarded on the university bus at around 5:30 pm on last Sunday to visit her friend’s home at Kurmitola in the capital. She got down from the bus at Kurmitola instead of Shewra by mistake. When she was walking towards Shewra area in the evening Majnu pressed her mouth from behind. At that time she became unconscious. Then she was raped. When she became conscious at around 10 pm she went to her friend’s home calling an auto-rickshaw. She informed her friend about the incident. Then her classmates took her to the university dormitory. Later she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Some university teachers including proctor AKM Golam Rabbani visited her on the same night. They talked to the student and informed law enforcement agency about the incident afterwards.
