Drug Queen’s dead body recovered in Mymensingh

Police have recovered bullet hit dead body of a top dug queen in Mymensingh. She was identified as Rehena. Her dead body was recovered from Gandropa area of sadar upazila on Sunday early morning.

Officer in Charge of district Detective Branch Police Ashikur Rahman said, the death may occur while infighting between two groups within them over sharing money of drug trading. But the details are yet to be known.

Officer in Charge (Intelligence) of Kotwali model police station Mushfiqur Rahman told Rtv online, local inhabitants informed us that body of a woman was lying down on the ground at Gandropa area. We went to the spot and found the bullet hit body. Later she was identified as Rehena.

Different sources including police have claimed that Rehena was running booming business of drugs behind a cinema hall at Cantonment area of Mymensingh city. There were several cases filed against her. On May 31 police conducted day long drive at the drug hub in the city. At that time Rehena managed to escape but police detained several including her brother Billal, Partha, Rubel and younger sister Sharifa.
