Mild cold wave sweeping over eight regions
The lack of sunlight due to dense fog, the temperature difference between day and night has decreased and severe cold has been felt all over the country for the past few days. In the meantime, the night temperature has dropped and mild cold wave has started in eight regions of the country.
On Thursday, January 5, Country's lowest temperature 9 degrees Celsius recorded in Jessore.
On Wednesday morning, the minimum temperature was 9 degrees Celsius at Srimangal Upazila in Moulvibazar. The minimum temperature in Dhaka has dropped from 14.1 degrees Celsius to 12.5 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologist Md. Abdul Hamid Mia told that a mild cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Pabna, Dinajpur, Panchagarh, Nilphamari, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia regions and may continue.
