Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has said, the five hundred bed specialized ‘Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute’ will be inaugurated in next September. The world’s largest burn and plastic surgery institute under the name of our Prime Minister will be inaugurated in the month of her birth. The fire burnt patients will get modern treatment facilities from here.

He was speaking while inaugurating the health service week of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday.

The minister said, to get medical service is the constitutional rights of every citizen. The government is working on to ensure the rights. We have taken initiatives to provide health service to the door steps of every citizen.

Mohammad Nasim said, the government has appointed 6 thousand physicians by this time for ensuring proper health service to the poor people at the grass root level. 10 thousand more physicians will be appointed by phases before the election. The newly appointed physicians have to serve in villages for three years.

The Health Minister said, the present government has appointed 10 thousand nurses at a time for the first time in the country. They are providing service in different hospitals in the country and there is no nurse crisis at the moment.

He said, the government will appoint 40 thousand third and fourth class officials in the health sector in different phases. The process will begin very soon.

Mentioning a big project has been taken for the development of Dhaka Medical College the minister said, the scenario of the hospital will be changed after completion of the project. The development work will begin very soon, he added.

Govt to recruit 10000 primary teachers by June
