Teenager Shahin’s van recovered, three arrested

The battery-run van of Jashore teenager Shahin has been recovered which was hijacked after hitting the teenage boy on the head.

The three hijackers were arrested on Monday afternoon and the van was recovered.

Police Super of Satkhira Sajjadur Rahman confirmed the information.

The arrested are- Naimul Islam, Arshad Par and Baker Ali.

In the afternoon at a press conference the police super said, Naimul was arrested from Bajitpur village under Keshabpur upazila in Jashore district on Monday morning. According to his delivered information Arshad Par and Baker Ali were arrested by Satkhira police.

Mentionable, on Friday morning Shahin, a seventh grader of Golakhali madrasa of Keshabpur went to earn money along with his battery-run van. In the afternoon the miscreants rented the van. Later they went to a jute field near Dhandia village and took the van away from Shahin after beating him severely and seriously wounding him on the head. Shahin became unconscious. After getting his sense back he began to cry, local people then recovered him and informed the Patkelghata police station.
