Rajuk directs to evacuate tilted building at Lalbagh

A 5-storey building has tilted at Raj Narayan Dhar (RND) road at Lalbagh in the old Dhaka of the capital. The number of the building is 2/E. Rajdhani Unnayan Katripakkha (Rajuk) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) have already directed the inhabitants of the building to evacuate it.

The building leaned on another high rise building on Sunday morning.

Officer in Charge of Lalbagh Police Station Suvash Kumar Paul confirmed the matter to Rtv online and said, the upper part of the building situated opposite of the house of Fazlul Haque Amini leaned on another building on Sunday morning. After hearing the news Rajuk, City Corporation and police have visited the spot. After visiting the tilted house Rajuk and DSCC officials imposed cautionary for the inhabitants to live there. Later the inhabitants were shifted to safer places.
