Dhaka stands world's top of the list of polluted cities

Dhaka's Air Quality Index was recorded at 190 score at 8:48 am today. Whice once again making the capital's most polluted air in the world. A score of 190 is considered unhealthy.

This picture can be seen in the index of IQAir, an international air technology company, around 10 am on Thursday (May 9).

According to the index, Pakistan's Lahore is in second place with a score of 170. Indonesia's Jakarta is in third place with a score of 162.

This index of air pollution is published regularly by IQAir, a Swiss-based organization. This index of IQAir is made with the air quality of different countries. It gives people information about how to clean the polluted air in a particular city. People are also warned about this.

Air quality scores on the AQI index range from zero to 50 as good. A score of 51 to 100 is considered moderate. And a score of 101 to 150 is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.

Also, a score of 151 to 200 is considered 'unhealthy' air. A score of 201 to 300 is considered 'very unhealthy'. In this situation, children, elderly and sick patients are advised to limit their activities inside the house. Also an AQI between 301 and 400 is considered 'risky'.
