Bangladesh to get 109 ambulances as gift from India

In honor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary the Indian government is going to present Bangladesh 109 ambulances. The information was delivered through a statement of foreign ministry on Wednesday.

The statement said, the ambulances will be handed over to Bangladesh during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s birth centenary and golden jubilee of independence of Bangladesh. Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Vikram Doraiswami informed about this when he met Foreign Minister A K Abdul Momen on Tuesday.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on March 26 on a two-day long visit. Huge security measures have been taken keeping ahead the visit.
