3 lakh 28 thousand people have registered to get corona vaccine

Many people at first expressed criticism over the coronavirus preventive vaccine. But beyond that criticism so far till Saturday three lakh 28 thousand people have registered themselves after showing eagerness to be vaccinated. The corona vaccination activities are going to begin at a time from tomorrow in one thousand and five hospitals across the country including capital Dhaka.

Director General of the health directorate Dr. ABM Khurshid Alam delivered the information at a press conference on Saturday afternoon.

Concerned say that the number of registered people might increase if there is no complexity in the online registration process. On the first day of activity several ministers including Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and Health Minister Zahid Maleque will get corona vaccine.

The corona vaccine apply activity began in the country on January 27. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the activity.

One day after on primary basis 541 people were vaccinated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Kurmitola General Hospital, Bangladesh-Kuwait Friendship Hospital, Mugda General Hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University hospital.
