Barrister Rafique-ul Haque laid to eternal rest

Former attorney general of the country and senior lawyer of the Supreme Court Barrister Rafique-ul Haque was laid to eternal rest at the Banani graveyard in the capital. Earlier his third Namaj-e-Janaja was held at 2 pm at the Supreme Court premises.

State Minister for Civil Aviation Mahbub Ali, Justices of the High Court and Supreme Court Appellate Division, Attorney General A M Amin Uddin and a number of lawyers took part in the namaj-e-janaja.

The veteran lawyer Barrister Rafique-ul Haque passed away at around 8:30 am on Saturday (24 October) while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Ad-Deen Hospital at Moghbazar in the capital.

His first Namaj-e-Janaja was held at the Ad-Deen Hospital premises. He was the chairman of the hospital. His second Namaj-e-Janaja was held at the Baitul Mokarram National Mosque.
