Coronavirus: emergency hotline for Bangladeshis in China

The Bangladesh embassy in China has introduced emergency hotline for Bangladeshis as Coronavirus spread there. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam delivered the information through a facebook post at around 6 pm on Saturday.

The State Minister said, in Beijing our embassy has introduced a hotline number (86)-17801116005. Our officials Khairul Bashar and Asif have been included in the We Chat group of 245 Bangladeshis. The government of China is not allowing anybody to get out of their homes in Wuhan city as a precautionary measure. All are asked to follow the government directions by not being panicked.

Shahriar Alam suggested everybody not to be worried and urged them to abide by the government directions.

Total 1287 people have been infected with the deadly virus in China and death toll has climbed to 41.
