5 Bangladeshis killed in Malaysia road crash identified

The five Bangladeshis who were killed in terrible road crash in Malaysia on Sunday night have been identified. Total 11 people were killed including five Bangladeshis in the accident. Besides, more 34 people were injured and of them eight are Bangladeshis.

The deceased Bangladeshis are- Mohammad Rajib Munsi from Cumilla, father- Yunus Munsi; Mohammad Sohel (24) from Chandpur, father- Anwar Hossain; Muhin (37) from Cumilla, father-Tajul; Al Amin (25) from Chandpur, father- Md. Amir; Golam Mostafa from Noakhali, father-Nur Mohammad.

Welfare Assistant of Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia Moksed Ali confirmed the identity of the deceased.

Meanwhile, in the morning Bangladesh High Commission Labor Councilor in Malaysia Md. Zahirul Islam went to the hospital and inquired about the injured.

Over telephone he said, Bangladesh High Commission is very active in the regard, the dead bodies will be sent to the relatives in Bangladesh as soon as possible. Out of the injured eight people four already left the hospital after taking treatment and the rest four people are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

At least 11 workers, including five Bangladeshis, were killed and 34 others injured as a factory bus carrying them plunged into a monsoon drain along Jalan S8 Pekeliling, near MAS Kargo, Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Sunday night.
