Besides, there are many achievements, success and glorious history of police. But due to the activities of some nonprofessional police members the whole police force cannot be blamed. With that thought, to bring the accused police members under punishment “IGP’s Complain Cell” is inaugurated in Bangladesh Police Headquarters. Divisional steps are being taken after investigation following complain. By this time strict actions were taken against many accused police members through this complain cell. This cell remains operational 24 hours a day.

The post also said, earlier the sufferers were undecided about places to lodge complains over nonprofessional activities of police. They even felt uncomfortable. But after starting of this complain cell people are coming forward and getting solutions after lodging complains. General people can make complain to this cell directly, through courier service, by post, sending email to complain@police.gov.bd or calling through mobile numbers-01769693535 and 01769693536.
