Joy becomes Prime Minister’s ICT Adviser again

Sajeeb Wazed Joy has been reappointed as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Information and Communication Technology Affairs Adviser. He was appointed in the post through a circular issued on Tuesday.

In the circular signed by Director (Administration) of Prime Minister’s Office Md. Ahsan Kibria Siddiqe, it was said, to discharge the responsibilities he will act as per instructions and suggestions of the Prime Minister. The appointment will be part-time and without salary. According the power bestowed upon her by the Rule 3 B (1) of the Rules of Business-1996, the Prime Minister has appointed him for the post.

Mentionable, earlier in 2014 Sajeeb Wazed Joy was also appointed for the same post. He is son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and grandson of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
