JSC pass rate 83.65 pc, JDC 89.04 pc

The results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) Examinations-2018 were published on Monday.

The pass rate in JSC exam is 83.65 percent while it is 89.04 percent in JDC exam.

According to Education Ministry sources, this year, a total of 68,095 students secured GPA-5.

As many as 26, 70,333 students from 29,677 educational institutions appeared in this year’s JSC and JDC examinations. Of them, 12, 23,732 are male and 14, 46,601 are female students.

This year, the number of JSC students was 22, 67,343 and the number of JDC students is 4,02,990.

Earlier in the morning, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid and Primary and Mass Education Minister Advocate Mustafizur Rahman handed over the results to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the PM’s official Ganabhaban residence here.

JSC and JDC examinations were held from November 1 to November 15 with participation of 25,99,169 examinees.

The PEC and Ebtedayee examinations were held from November 18 to November 26.
