BNP delivers statement sitting at home: Tofael
Awami League advisory council member and Commerce Minister Tofael Ahmed said, BNP has turned isolated from people. By not conducting mass contact they deliver statement sitting at home saying that Awami League bars them from going field. But we do not bar anybody. People are united at present against the unjust-repression during BNP era.
He said these at an election campaign meeting at Uttar Dighaldi union of Bhola on Friday.
Tofael Ahmed said, as we got the independence through votes for boat in 1970 under leadership of father of the nation, like that we will maintain the development of Bangladesh through casting our votes for boat on December 30. We will maintain the progress.
He said, our slogan ‘my village, my town’. By this time our villages have turned into township. Today roads are developed, electricity in the houses. The facilities that we get in the town we will bring those to the villages across the country according to the direction of Prime Minister.
The Commerce Minister said, poverty level has reduced for providing allowance for old aged people, allowance for widow, freedom fighters allowance, VGD and VGF card facilities.
He said, people of the country believe in development of Sheikh Hasina. They have confidence on Awami League. So to continue the flow of development people will vote for boat.
District Awami League general secretary Abdul Momin Tulu, joint general secretary Johurul Islam Nakib among others were present at that time.
