5 Deputy Attorney Generals relieved of duty

The government has relieved five Deputy Attorney Generals of their duties who were assigned to run cases for the state in the High Court.

The relieved are-Zahirul Haque Zahir, Abdullah Al Mamun, Md. Jahangir Alam, Sheikh AKM Moniruzzaman Kabir and Manjur Kader.

In this regard an office order was issued on Tuesday signed by legal and justice division solicitor of the law ministry Jesmin Ara.

Earlier, Law Secretary Abu Saleh Sheikh Md. Zahirul Haque confirmed the matter to the mass media.
