Namaj-e-janaza of Ayub Bachchu held at National Eidgah

The first namaj-e-janaza of legendary singer Ayub Bachchu was held at the National Eidgah on Friday after Juma prayers. People from all walks of life including leaders and activists from political, social and cultural arena took part in the janaza. Besides, fans, co-artists, reputed persons from film arena took part in the janaza after paying tributes to Ayub Bachchu.

Imam of High Court mosque Abu Saleh Saifullah administered the namaj-e-janaza.

Before the namaj-e-janaza younger brother of Ayub Bachchu, Erfan Chowdhury said, Ayub Bachchu always helped people. He loved them. He was always respectful to the parents. Everyone please pray for my brother.

He said, please pardon him if he gave pain to someone willingly or unwillingly in his way of life. If he owes to someone than please contact us, we will pay it.

From the Eidgah his body will be taken to his studio ‘AB Kitchen’ for paying tributes. After holding second namaj-e-janaza his body will be kept in the mortuary of Square Hospital.

His body will be taken to his birth place Chattogram on Saturday. After holding another janaza he will be laid to eternal rest beside his mother’s grave.

According to family sources of Ayub Bachchu, his son and daughter at present are in abroad and he will be buried after their arrival.

Ayub Bachchu died at the age of 56 years on Thursday. Grief is prevailing in the country following his sudden death.
