Nazmul Huda files case against SK Sinha

Barrister Nazmul Huda filed a case with Shahbag police station against former chief justice Surendra Kumar Sinha for taking bribe. Officer in Charge of Shahbag police station Abul Hasan confirmed the matter to Rtv online.

The former BNP leader filed the case with Shahbag police station on Monday afternoon. Abul Hasan said, as the case is a corruption case, so Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) will investigate. The case number is 49.

Meanwhile, ACC has begun investigation against SK Sinha’s brother Ananta Kumar Sinha over allegation of money laundering to USA and amassing illegal wealth.

Public Relations Officer of ACC Pranab Kumar Bhattachariya confirmed the matter to Rtv online.

He said, ACC has begun investigation against Ananta Kumar Sinha. ACC has taken the decision on the basis of allegation over money laundering and amassing illegal wealth.

According to the ACC sources, allegations were found against Ananta Kumar Sinha of buying home in New Jersy of USA worth 2 lakh 80 thousand dollars, money laundering and amassing illegal wealth.

Earlier ACC interrogated two businessmen Mohammad Shahjahan and Niranjan Saha over allegation of abnormal transaction in the bank account of SK Sinha. There was allegation of depositing 4 crore taka in the bank account of SK Sinha after getting loan from Farmers Bank by showing fake documents.
