Rtv distributes food among poor on Bangabandhu’s death anniversary

Rtv family distributed food among poor people on the occasion of death anniversary of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman this year also like the previous.

The food items were distributed among poor people on Thursday at the head office of Rtv on the occasion of national mourning day. A discussion was held before distributing the food.

In the program Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman said, I am thanking Rtv that they have distributed food among poor on Bangabandhu’s death anniversary. We hope that through this program they will work to implement the philosophy and dream of Bangabandhu. Father of the nation always worked for the repressed people. He clearly always said that the world is divided into two segments- exploiter and exploited.

He said, father of the nation worked for exploited people. We could not save father of the nation on that particular day. But philosophy of Bangabandhu is increasing day by day. Dead Mujib is stronger than living Mujib. It expresses immortality of philosophy of father of the nation.

Rtv Vice Chairman Md. Jasim Uddin said, there would be no big industrial units in the country if Bangabandhu had not liberated the country. Bangabandhu was killed along with entire family members to create vacuum in Awami League leadership. We observe martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from the ethical point of view. Rtv tries to uphold to the audience why the country is independent.

Awami League Organizing Secretary Khaleed Mahmud Chowdhury MP said, how Bangabandhu showed brevity and talent in his life, if we can build the country cherishing that brevity and dream than we will be able to love Bangabandhu in proper way.

Chief Executive Officer of Rtv Syed Ashik Rahman said, Rtv works with the spirit of liberation war. It bears the liberation war. It bears independence of the country. Bangabandhu said, I am not for the exploiter for the exploited. Our works are for the exploited, for the people. Bangabandhu loved people. We are working inheriting this love.

Swechchasebak League president Molla Mohammad Abu Kawsar said, Bangabandhu gave blood to establish rights of people. Standing against the evil force Prime Minister is trying to accomplish the undone task of Bangabandhu. People from all walks of life have joined at present with the Prime Minister.

In the program Awami League Information and Research Secretary Afzal Hossain, Forest and Environment Affairs Secretary Delwar Hossain, Lawyer S.M. Rezaul Karim, Journalist Suvash Singha Roy and Rtv family members were present.

It is mentionable, the self-confessed killers of August 15, 1975 did not assassinate Bangabandhu alone, but also killed 16 other members of his family, friends and relatives. They include his wife Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib, sons Sheikh Kamal, Sheikh Jamal and Sheikh Russell, daughters-in-law Sultana Kamal and Rosy Jamal, brother Sheikh Naser, brother-in-law Abdur Rab Serniabat, nephew and eminent journalist Sheikh Fazlul Huq Moni, his pregnant wife Arzoo Moni and Colonel Jamil. Bangabandhu’s two daughters Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana escaped from death as they were in overseas.
