Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) force to take action against currupt businessmen and smugglers.

She gave the directive at the 20th founding anniversary program of RAB at the elite force's headquarters in the capital's Kurmitola on Wednesday (March 6) at 11 am.

"Unfortunately some dishonest businessmen become more greedy instead of restraining the greed during the month of holy Ramadan," PM said.

She said the supply of fake currency increases during Eid. Surveillance should be increased. Although the campaign is going on, more attention should be taken in this direction.

Sheikh Hasina said the drive against militancy will continue. She said RAB has played a courageous role in curbing militancy by risking their lives. Peace has returned to the people as militants and terrorists have been neutralized.
