Body of missing child in CTG, recovered after 17 hours

A body of a one and half years old boy has been recovered after 17 hours of missing at Agrabad in Chattogram.

Kafil Uddin, an officer of Agrabad Fire Station said, On Monday around 9 am the body was recovered, who went missing after falling into a canal in waterlogged after heavy rains.

The deceased was identified as Yashin Arafat, son of Saddam Hussain of Agrabad area.

Earlier on Sunday afternoon, the boy fell into a drain while playing on the street.

Fire service officer said, their diving team and city corporation cleaning staff launched the rescue operation again on Monday morning and recovered the body around 9am.

The body was handed over to the family members.
