Bangladesh Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "When the Awami League came to power, the fate of the people in this country changed."

She stated, "When Awami League is in power, the fate of the people changes. The people of Bangladesh voted in the 2008 election, and we formed the government. In the 2014 election, the people of Bangladesh once again brought us to power through their votes. In the 2018 election, the people of Bangladesh voted again and made us victorious."

She made this statement at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi 32, on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami League on Friday morning, June 23.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "Today Bangladesh has achieved dignity. Where once people around the world treated us as despise, today they see the people of Bangladesh with eyes of respect. Awami League has attained this respect."

She added, "If the Awami League remains in power, Bangladesh will establish itself as a developing country. By 2041, we will have a Smart Bangladesh, a Smart Economy, and a Smart People, and our country will move forward."
