President Md Shahabuddin arrived in Turkiye

President Md Shahabuddin has arrived in Ankara, the capital city of Turkiye for a six-day official visit to attend the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines VVIP flight (Flight No. BG-207) carrying President Shahabuddin landed in Ankara at 4:30 am yesterday, june 02.

On Thursday night, June 01, the aircraft departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka at 11:00 pm.

Upon their arrival at Ankara Airport, President Md Shahabuddin was welcomed by Bangladesh ambassador to Turkey M Amanul Haq and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including, Ambassador Oya Tunga Cagli, Head of Department G"nenO Agaciklioglu, DG for Protocol Mert Can Yazici, Third Secretary and DG for South Asia.

Point to be noted that, President Sahabuddin will participate in the swearing-in ceremony at the "Presidential Complex" in Ankara on June 03 at 5:00 pm (local time).

During his visit, the President will also attend an official banquet hosted by President Erdogan at the Presidential Palace.

President Sahabuddin will participate in several scheduled events, including interactions with eminent personalities in Ankara. He will be staying at the Sheraton Ankara Hotel during his visit to Turkiye.

On the evening of June 06, President Sahabuddin is scheduled to return to the country.
