Popular actor-producer of the 90s, Zahid Hasan, has been admitted to the hospital. He was admitted to a hospital in Dhanmondi in the capital this week. With severe breathing problems, he is under treatment in the hospital.   According to the hospital authorities, he was brought with the symptoms of asthma. He is admitted in a cabin in the C block of the institution.  But everything is under control now. Zahid Hasan is being cared for in the hospital by his wife actress Sadia Islam Mou and two children.   Moreover, actor Zahid is still active in the media. Apart from acting, he is also very busy in production. During Eid, in the past few years, his drama used to be one of the attractions of the TV program.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday night for some medical tests. The BNP chief's family sources said she was suffering from fever. "Madam was admitted to the hospital around 8:10 pm as per the decision of the medical board," said the BNP chief’s personal physician, Prof AZM Zahid Hossain. He said Khaleda needs to undergo some medical tests as new symptoms appear in her body. "So, she’ll have to stay in the hospital for a few days for these tests." The BNP chief left her Gulshan residence around 6:25pm and reached the hospital around 7:50pm, said BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

Popular actor Abdul Aziz has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital (BIRDEM) in the capital after suffering a massive heart attack. Director's Guild General Secretary Kamruzzaman Sagar confirmed the matter on Saturday night. He said, director's guild esteemed member, actor and producer Abdul Aziz fell ill at around 8 pm on saturday. He was immediately taken to BIRDEM Hospital where it was found that he had suffered a massive heart attack. He is currently undergoing treatment in the CCU of the hospital. Abdul Aziz asked for prayers from everyone.

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital. At around 10:30 am on Sunday, January 15, he was admitted to the capital's Evercare Hospital due to ill feeling. On Sunday, January 15, Sayrul Kabir Khan, member of BNP's media cell, confirmed the matter to reporters and said that the BNP Secretary General was admitted to Evercare Hospital for a regular health check-up on the advice of physicians.

A total of 203 fresh dengue cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours.       Of them 170 were admitted in Dhaka and 33 out of the capital, a release  of the Health Crisis Management and Control Room of Directorate General of  Health Services (DGHS) said in Dhaka today (Wednesday).       A total of 863 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different  hospitals and clinics across the country.       Among them, 720 patients are taking treatment in Dhaka division and 143  are hospitalised outside the capital, the release added.       A total of 19,336 patients have been admitted to different hospitals  across the country since January this year. Of them, 18,400 patients have  returned home after recovery, DGHS said.       Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) has confirmed 73 deaths due to dengue till now, said the DGHS.  Source: BSS AH

National Professor Anisuzzaman was admitted at a private hospital in the capital. On Monday night he was admitted at the hospital due to heart related complications. Son of Professor Anisuzzaman, Ananda Zaman told the news media that earlier at the beginning of April his father was admitted in hospital due to kidney and lungs related problems. And again this time he was admitted. He said that the physicians told that his father was suffering from heart problems. But at the moment he is out of danger. He is suffering from some old age complications. Professor Anisuzzaman’s son also requested all to pray for his father. AH 

Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad was admitted to hospital following kidney and hemoglobin problem. He was admitted to Critical Care Unit of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) of Dhaka on Wednesday morning. Younger brother of Ershad and Acting Chairman of Jatiya Party GM Kader confirmed the information. He said, recently Ershad returned home after taking treatment from Singapore and was taking further treatment from CMH. But personal officials of Ershad said that he regularly visits CMH for routine checkup. When he feels bad he goes to CMH. Physicians before the eleventh national parliament election informed that hemoglobin production stopped in Ershad’s blood. AH       

BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed was admitted to a private hospital in the capital as he felt severe chest pain. He is at present undergoing treatment at CCU of Apollo Hospitals. Moudud Ahmed’s Personal Secretary Mominur Rahman Sujan said that he was admitted at the hospital at around 3 pm. His treatment is going on under supervision of Professor Dr. Sahabuddin Talukder. Sujan also said, sir was suffering from chest pain and breathing problem from Saturday. Sir had a case in the High Court on Sunday. After entering the court he fell down due to sickness. Then he was rushed to the Apollo Hospitals immediately. At present he is in CCU. His family members sought doa for his early recovery. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to Tangail on Thursday to handover Danveer Ranada Prasad Shaha Gold Medals at Kumudini Complex in Mirzapur and to inaugurate and lay foundation stone of 31 development projects in the districts. After handover of gold medals she delivered speech as the chief guest. At that time the Prime Minister memorized her childhood. She said, in 1956 or 57 my father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, mother and other family members came here. They visited the school and hospital. I can remember that my father became very pleased to see the beauty of this place and wanted to get me admitted to Kumudini School. Aftermath in 1958 martial law was imposed. My father was sent to jail. Our lessons were stopped. Later we did not come here. But after 1981, returning from abroad I came here several times. About Danveer Ranada Prasad Shaha she said, he had earned money in one hand and donated it on the other hand. He donated money for girls’ education and treatment. He had offered chance for people to live like human being. Many types of works are being done through Kumudini Trust. Our cooperation for serving people will continue. Sheikh Hasina said, on May 7, 1971 the invaders picked up Danveer Ranada Prasad Shaha and his son Bhabani Prasad Shaha from Kumudini Welfare Trust in Narayanganj and later they forced the dead bodies to disappear. Their family members never got the bodies back. We can understand the grief of losing near and dear ones. She said, the example that Ranada Prasad Shaha set for expansion of women’s education, the rich people of the society should come forward in that way to serve the humanity. She also said, my journey has begun with the grief of losing near and dear ones. I am working with the love of people. Now the world sees Bangladesh as a role model of development. We want to march forward more. This year four renowned personalities were awarded the ‘Ranada Prasad Shaha Smarak Gold Medal-2019’. The four personalities are- National poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and Hoseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy (posthumous), National Professor Rafiqul Islam and painter Shahabuddin Ahmed. The Prime Minister handed over the souvenirs. To pay tribute to the memory of Danveer Ranada Prasad Shaha the ‘Ranada Prasad Shaha Smarak Gold Medal’ award was introduced from 2015 by the Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal (BD) Limited. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, BNP Secretary General, has been admitted to a private hospital in the capital as he suddenly falls sick on Monday morning. BNP Chairperson`s media wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the information to RTV Online. He said that the Secretary-General was admitted to United Hospital at 10:00 am after feeling sick. He is now undergoing treatment in the hospital. Various types of tests are underway. Mirza Fakhrul has been suffering from various diseases for a long time. He has also been treated abroad several times, said Shamsuddin Didar. Mirza Fakhrul`s mother was also admitted to the BIRDEM hospital.   FU
