US-China relationship on 'more stable footing' Yellen says
Chinese Premier Li Qiang hosted the US Treasury in Beijing, and both agreed to cooperate despite their differences. US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Chinese Premier Li Qiang sounded cautiously confident on Sunday that ties between the world's two largest economies were improving.   Yellen met Li in Beijing on her second visit to China in less than a year. She told the Chinese premier that the ability to have difficult conversations has put the two economic giants on "a more stable footing."  "While we have more to do, I believe that, over the past year, we have put our bilateral relationship on more stable footing," she said. Relations between the US and China have often been strained in recent years, with issues such as technology, trade, human rights and Beijing's aggressive stance on Taiwan all bones of contention. On Sunday. Li said China hoped for a partnership rather than an adversarial relationship between the two countries. The premier added that "constructive progress" had been made during Yellen's visit. 'Balanced growth' On Saturday, Yellen held a series of meetings in the export hub of Guangzhou. The Treasury chief held hours of discussions with her counterpart, Vice Premier He Lifeng. The two agreed to hold " intensive exchanges " on more balanced economic growth. Yellen stressed that she intends to use the medium to advocate for a level playing field with China to protect US workers and businesses. Talking about Yellen's Guangzhou visit, Li said on Sunday that Chinese internet users have closely followed the details of her trip since her appearance in the southern city, showing "expectation and hope for the China-US relationship to continue to improve." Excess capacity arguments contentious During her visit, Yellen emphasized the threat of China's overproduction of clean energy products, such as EVs and solar panels, to producers in the US and other countries. It was not well-received by some sections of the Chinese media. The state news agency Xinhua said that talking up "Chinese overcapacity" in the clean energy sector created a pretext for protectionist policies to shield American companies. Suppressing China's EV-related industries will not help the US grow its own, Xinhua said as it expressed hope that more headway could be made during Yellen's visit to break down barriers impeding mutually beneficial cooperation. A meeting between Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping in San Francisco in November has contributed to a warming of bilateral ties. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is also expected to soon visit China again in a sign that the two sides are striving to return to more settled relations.

Lula visits Berlin to reset Germany-Brazil relationship
In his meeting with the Brazilian president, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will welcome a man whose importance as a mouthpiece for the Global South continues to grow. Olaf Scholz is known as someone who has a plan for everything and everyone. But if the chancellor had one when he traveled to Brazil ten months ago to meet the country's new President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, it didn't work out very well. A memorable press conference in Brasilia on January 30 was seen by many in the German media as a rebuff to Scholz, after da Silva flatly turned down any military help for Ukraine in the war with Russia. Before that, Lula had made it abundantly clear that following the years under right-wing populist Jair Bolsonaro, he was indeed the man that German politicians had long been looking for, someone they could see eye to eye with. But as a leader of the Global South, a member of the BRICS states, and also set to chair the G20 in 2024, it was also obvious that Lula had a self-assured agenda of his own. His position unambiguous: No economic sanctions against Russia, no arms supplies to Ukraine, a reform of the UN Security Council to allow one seat each for Brazil and the African continent, and a free trade agreement between the South American trade block Mercosur and the EU, which would first require compromises from the European Union. First intergovernmental consultations in eight years At least this time, Scholz knows what to expect when the Brazilian president arrives in the German capital with Cabinet ministers in tow. In addition to a meeting with the chancellor, Lula's visit to Berlin will also include a visit to the parliament representing the German states, or Bundesrat, and an appearance at a German-Brazilian economic forum. But the first government-level talks between the two countries since 2015 (they were put on ice during the Bolsonaro years) are above all a sign that Germany and Brazil hoping to realigning their relations in the coming days. "The difficult partner in Brasilia" was the title of an article by Brazil expert Oliver Stuenkel in the magazine "Internationale Politik" shortly after the chancellor's visit to Brazil at the beginning of the year. But the political scientist and professor of international politics at the School of International Relations in São Paulo said he would choose a different title to describe this upcoming meeting. "Lula continues to be a difficult partner, but with an emphasis on partner rather than on difficult," he told DW. "There are certainly points of divergence with the war in Ukraine, and it will not be possible to resolve them entirely. But in the areas of climate, energy, and multilateral institutions, the intergovernmental consultations will be an important step towards closer cooperation." Brazil and Germany share common interests Regarding the climate, this means help from Germany to further strengthen the Amazon Fund, which Lula revived to protect the rainforest and promote global climate protection. On energy, Brazil can hope to entice German companies and their technology with its natural renewable energy resources, such as green hydrogen, rare earths, lithium, wind, and sun. And when it comes to multilateral institutions, Germany and Brazil intend to reform the UN Security Council together with the other two G4 nations, India and Japan. But according to Latin America expert Claudia Zilla, of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), Brazil's vision of a reformed international order involves more than just gaining a permanent seat on the Security Council. "While Germany is taking an approach that aims to restore the liberal, rules-based international order, Brazil is advocating for reform, stressing the fact that the international order was, strictly speaking, never entirely liberal or rules-based, for example with the war in Iraq, the war on terror, or the regime change in Libya," she told DW. A competitor in China According to a statement on the German Foreign Ministry website, "Brazil is the only country in Latin America with which Germany has had a strategic partnership since 2008. Brazil is Germany's most important trading partner in South America." But there is no such statement on the Brazilian government website, because in recent decades a different country has been investing much bigger sums in Latin America: China. Today, a quarter of all Brazil's imports and exports are with China, and transactions between the two countries are no longer conducted in US dollars, but in the local currencies, the real and the yuan. "China is buying in incredible quantities and investing a lot," said Zilla. "It is therefore necessary for Germany to offer something of real significance, not in terms of quantity, because that is unfeasible, but in terms of quality. For example, as part of the EU's Global Gateway Initiative (which aims to help developing countries build sustainable infrastructure), or by sharing technology and developing common social and environmental standards." Fresh start for EU-Mercosur trade agreement? Both Lula and Scholz were alarmed by the recent victory of Javier Milei in the Argentinian presidential elections, who sharply criticized the free trade agreement between the EU and Mercosur — which comprises Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay and represents a market of 715 million people — and even threatened to withdraw from the South American alliance. As Lula and Scholz meet in Berlin, this will likely serve as an urgent wake-up call for them to finalize the political deal reached in 2019. For Brazil expert Oliver Stuenkel, the agreement would be a classic win-win situation. "The environmental movements in Europe that oppose the agreement overlook the fact that the EU, unlike China, prioritizes the fight against deforestation," he said. "It would immensely strengthen Germany's and Europe's presence in Brazil. It would also guarantee the future of Mercosur. And it would be a very important signal for free trade, globalization, and geopolitical integration."

Father and Child- An Eternal Relationship
Father, the word varies from country to country. But, the relationship between father and child never varies or changes. In Bengali language, we call the word Father as 'Baba or Abba'. In English, they call it Father or Dad. Children in different parts of the world call the word Father in a different way.  'Father' is the place of trust, the strength to conquer the world. Father around the world stand by their children. He put his hand on his children's head and said, "There is nothing to fear. Everything will be fine."  Father's are children's real superhero. As long as father's are alive, they do not allow any storm to fall on their children. Father took all the dangers to himself. They try their best to fulfill their child's dreams despite all the obstacle.  Father's are spent years after years wearing a Punjabi or a shirt. But, for his child, he bought new clothes, new Punjabi every single time on different occasion. He wears old shoe, but buys the best brand of shoes for his child. No sacrifice in the world can compare to Father's sacrifice. Today, june 18, is the Father's Day.  In different countries around the world, Father's Day is celebrated on third Sunday of the month of June. So, greetings and love to all the fathers of the world. However, it does not necessary to love your father in a specific day or month. Children can love their father every single day. Love between the father and son is eternal.

India-Bhutan relationship goes beyond just geopolitical interests
The meeting between Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday has garnered significant interest, especially in view of the heightened focus on the Doklam issue, The Bhutan Live reported. The discussions between the two top leaders were hailed as "warm and productive," and they produced a broad five-point roadmap for advancing India's "time-tested" ties with Bhutan. The Doklam problem was not specifically mentioned, but it is obvious that it is still a crucial area for India's strategic interests. The five-point plan by the two leaders includes cooperation in a variety of areas, such as trade, connectivity, and investment, sustainable trade facilitation measures, new paradigms of cooperation in the energy sector, and cooperation in emerging industries like startups and space travel. According to The Bhutan Live, the projected rail link project, which would be the first train link ever between Assam and Bhutan, between Kokrajhar and Gelephu is also included in the roadmap. India has also agreed to grant an additional standby credit facility at Bhutan's request and to increase its support for the next 13th Five-Year Plan. The relationship between India and Bhutan is seen as "exemplary," being marked by trust, goodwill, and understanding. The foundation of this connection is mutual respect, trust, a thorough understanding, and sensitivity to one another's worries. The intertwined and indivisible nature of India's and Bhutan's security concerns are self-evident, and the two nations have a long history of close talks on issues pertaining to their shared security and interests. The roadmap to which the two leaders agreed is a crucial step in expanding the proven relationship between India and Bhutan. In addition to improving connectivity between the two nations, the proposed rail link project between Kokrajhar and Gelephu will also strengthen commercial and trade ties. Bhutan's socio-economic development will be aided by India's support for the country's upcoming Five Year Plan and the availability of an additional standby credit facility. The discovery of new areas of collaboration, like startups and space, emphasizes the expanding breadth and depth of the relationship between India and Bhutan. The exemplary relationship between India and Bhutan is proof of the value of respect, trust, and cooperation. The strategy proposed by PM Modi and King Wangchuck will only serve to deepen the two nations' shared commitment to each other's security and common interests, as per The Bhutan Live. Even as the Doklam issue still remains a point of concern, the discussions between PM Modi and Wangchuck show a commitment to seeking amicable solutions and strengthening the relationship between the two nations. As India and Bhutan continue to strengthen their ties, the two countries will serve as a shining example of the benefits of cooperation and shared respect in international affairs, The Bhutan Live reported. The Bhutan King arrived in Delhi on Monday. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar called on him on Monday and hosted a dinner, which "involved good discussions and interaction" with the key CEOs of some of the Indian companies.

Do these things to maintain a healthy relationship
How easily relationships are made in drama and cinema! Then it only gets closer with time and finally ends in marriage.  But in reality the relationship is not so easy. Hard things come up. If they are not handled properly, it turned into disaster in your relationship. And so to ensure a healthy relationship one must be aware to these issues. For that, pay attention to these things. Respect each other. It sounds very easy, but maintaining respect for each other is quite difficult. Especially when they know each other's inside and outside things.  It is very natural that there will be some differences between the two. From minor issues like politics, economics to casual matters, likes and dislikes etc. These can also affect your relationship if you fail to maintain mutual respect. Relationship experts will admit that when a relationship turns from 'acquaintance' to 'love' is a complicated mystery. It is more complicated in today's relationships. Because, like our lifestyle, relationships also change quickly now. For that focus on mutual communication. Notice how much your partner insists on being committed. Talk regularly. Whatever the problem, try not to hide anything. Be as open as possible with each other. Listen carefully to your partner. Meet regularly. Spend time together. Stay close to each other as much as possible. Compromise is the most effective formula for a healthy relationship. You may find a partner who is perfect for you, but it is impossible to find a partner who is hundred like you.  So compromises have to be made and balance is very important in a relationship.

What is the relationship between JMB and PFI?
Recently Indian government banned one of the Muslim organizations named Popular Front of India (PFI). After banning PFI, new discussion and question has raised there. Indian government explained that PFI had close relations and collusion with the militant organization JMB or Jamaatul Mujahideen of Bangladesh. This issue has confused many. Because the JMB has been banned in Bangladesh for a long time and they also banned in India in 2019. In Bangladesh it is considered that JMB already extinct. Still, as usual, the question has been raised about the connection between the PFI and the JMB. As part of the Ministry of Home Affairs' gazette notification, a complete file has been prepared by the NIA (National Investigation Agency), India's top anti-terrorism agency. These are: -   a) After banning JMB in Bangladesh the security forces cracked down on its activists, and they found that many members of the organization fled to neighboring India. Many of them take refuge in Muslim-majority areas of Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand and even faraway Karnataka.   b) After reaching in India the JMB members gradually start their activities with aim of building 'Jamaatul Mujahideen Hindustan'. But they did the entire task very silently. They were mainly raising funds and selecting and recruiting 'vulnerable' youth from within the Muslim community. For doing work JMB chose local Islamic institutions like madrasas and mosques and social media for this work. c) The National Investigation Agency document also says that training of Indian recruits in weapons also continued. They also trained cadres for bomb making. Training was given on how to deal with the enemy by making indigenous weapons like bow and arrow. In Jharkhand several camps of JMB has found.   d) In 2014 the organization came to light because of the involvement with Burdwan blast. That time a massive action against them was launched across West Bengal and Assam and more than 50 JMB members were arrested. Many JMB bomb-making 'factories' and powerful bombs were also discovered in that time.   e) Following NIA information, it was at this stage that JMB's closeness with PFI began. PFI however was formed much earlier (2006) by the amalgamation of three Muslim organizations in Kerala. After around ten years, their network gradually spread across India. Many members and cadres of the JMB then became members of the PFI or took refuge under its umbrella to avoid arrest.   f) PFI identifies itself primarily as a socio-political organization, which agitates on various issues related to the interests of Indian Muslims. Along with doing social service work, ex-JMB members gradually got involved in that too. The National Investigation Agency document says that even in the big relief operation carried out by the PFI in Assam's devastating floods this year; many of its relief workers in Bengali-speaking areas of the state were former members of the JMB.   India's National Investigation Agency has pointed out such instances as evidence of the deep relationship between PFI and JMB. They are even claiming that Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba was also linked to PFI through JMB. They claimed that Pakistan's Lashkar had been in contact with Bangladesh's JMB for long time.   Last month, the National Investigation Agency filed a charge sheet against six suspected militants in a special court in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. NIA found that all of them were JMB members. According to the charge sheet, they were involved in a conspiracy to carry out sabotage in India.    Finally in the charge sheet of NIA, it has practically been accepted that JMB has not been abolished from India. Not only that, India also recognized that JMB were making them increasingly strong by joining hands with the PFI. Source: www.bangladeshlivenews.com
