However, this actress who once flourished in the film industry is no longer seen on the silver screen. Babita revealed the reason. Recently, Babita talked about various issues of film in a media of the country. At that time, the actress said, my fans will be able to see me again on the screen if there is a chance. She also said that, "If a  story is made based on me, I will definitely act. I can never say goodbye to acting." She said, "Currently I am not used to doing the roles that I am asked for. Meanwhile I got an offer to do a movie with Shakib Khan. That movie was supposed to be shot in America, Canada. But I did not agree. Because I don't want to play the role of a mother only." "In our neighbouring countries, Amitabh Bachchan is playing central roles even at this age. Sridevi played the lead role even before her death. But this scenario is very rare in our country. Everyone thinks that, when we get old, we do not get any role except the character of parents. That's why I am away from the movie. If the story is good and heart-touching, the audience will definitely see me again in the cinema." The actress added. Incidentally, Babita was last seen in Nargis Akhter's 'Putro Ekhon Poishawala' movie.  However, she assured that if she gets chance to play any central role in a movie in future, she will surely act in it.

CEC cites reason for low voter turn out
From the morning Dhaka North and South City Corporation elections have come under the threat of rain. Most of the voting centers in the capital were voter less due to rain. After casting his vote at IES Higher Secondary School at Uttara sector 5 on Thursday morning the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda mentioned two reasons for low voter turnout. He said, short period or for one year the mayor and councilors will be elected. For this reason there may be less interest for the voters. As there is no participation of all parties and there is no competition among the candidates, so these are also may be reason for low voter turnout. The CEC said, Election Commission is not responsible for low voter turnout in the mayoral by-election and Dhaka North and South city councilor elections. Political parties and candidates are responsible for for this. I have observed comparatively low voter turnout. Whether the environment is fair or not- when newsmen asked about this he said, all out measures have been taken on behalf of the election commission to make the election fair. There is no reason to be not fair. The post of mayor in Dhaka North City Corporation turned vacant following the death of Annisul Huq. In the ongoing by-election five candidates are competing. They are- Awami League candidate Md. Atiqul Islam (Boat), Jatiya Party’s Shafin Ahmed (Plough), Md. Smoking in cockpit not reason for US-Bangla air crash: Investigator
Captain Salahuddin M Rahmatullah, Bangladeshi investigator for the US-Bangla aircraft crash in Nepal said, the investigation report of Nepal said that the pilot was smoking in the cockpit. There is nothing to debate in this regard. Because, there is no restriction internationally for not smoking on the aircraft. But there is instruction for not smoking in toilets. So it is not the reason for that accident. He said these at a press conference at the head office of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) on Monday. CAAB Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Naim Hassan was also present there. Salahuddin M Rahmatullah said, the investigation reports of India and Nepal are baseless which held pilot Abid Sultan responsible for the accident. The air control tower needed to be more alert when the captain was preparing for landing. On March 12 last year flight BS-211 of private airlines US-Bangla crashed in Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal with 71 passengers on board. 51 people were killed in the accident where 22 were Nepalese, one Chinese and the rest were Bangladeshis. On Monday in a report of New Delhi based news agency Asian News International (ANI) it was said, a commission was formed to investigate the fatal accident and that commission submitted the report on Sunday. In a statement the commission said, there are rules to ban smoking on behalf of the companies for operating domestic and international flights. But according to the information came to the commission Pilot in Command (PIC) of the aircraft was a smoker. According to the information of Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) the pilot was smoking in the cockpit while operation the aircraft. So the accident took place due to inability of the aircraft controller and lack of consciousness over situation by the crew members. AH
