For the eighth time on the occasion of international women’s day Rtv has organized the honorary program ‘Joya Enlightened Woman 2020’. The program was organized at the Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. In the program six women were given honor for their special contribution to the society in different fields. In this year the honor was showed to- Dr. Tamal Lata Aditya (Agriculture-science), Professor Nazma Shams (Scouting-Organizer), Bibi Amena (Woman entrepreneur), Rabeya Sultana Rabbi (Challenging profession), Hazera Begum (Social service) and Shirin Sultana (Sports-wrestling). The honor recipients were provided special scarf, flowers and crests by Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, State Minister for Information Dr. Md. Murad Hasan, former state minister Meher Afroz Chumki, dramatist Ataur Rahman, cultural personality Syed Hasan Imam, acting British High Commissioner Javed Patel, magician Jewel Aitch, Social Marketing Company Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Md. Ali Reza Khan, Rtv Chairman Alhaj Morshed Alam MP, SMC Enterprise Ltd. Managing Director Abdul Haque, US Aid Mission Director Derrick Brown, Rtv Vice Chairman Md. Jasim Uddin, Berger Paints Bangladesh Managing Director Rupali Haque Chowdhury, Anwar Group of Industries Group Managing Director Monowar Hossain, children litterateur Ali Imam, Labib Group Chairman Salauddin Alamgir and Vice Chairman Sultana Jahan and Rtv Director Bilkis Nahar. The program began with the inaugural speech delivered by chairman of the parliamentary standing committee for women and children’s affairs ministry Meher Afroz Chumki. Chief Executive Officer of Rtv Syed Ashik Rahman delivered the welcome speech. Social Marketing Company Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Md. Ali Reza Khan, Rtv Chairman Alhaj Morshed Alam MP, SMC Enterprise Ltd. Managing Director Abdul Haque delivered the speech of greetings. At the end of the program special honor was handed over to SMC Enterprise Limited. Honorable Mayor of DSCC Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Rtv Managing Director Humayun Kabir Bablu and Chief Executive Officer Syed Ashik Rahman handed over the honor on behalf of Rtv. AH       

The popular private television channel Rtv has paid honor to eight majestic women on the occasion of international women’s day. In a gorgeous program held at Pan Pacific Hotel Sonargaon on Friday evening the honor was given to the women for their role in different fields for the sixth time. The recipients of ‘Joya Enlightened Women-2018’ honor are: Professor Dr. Sayeba Akter in medical science, Shahin Samad in music, Rubi Rahman in literature, Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum in social service, Mouluda Khanam in Arts, Parvin Mahmud FCA in women’s empowerment, Nasrin Sultana in challenging occupation and Ankhi Khatun in sports. In his welcome speech in the program Rtv Chairman Alhaj Morshed Alam MP said, the half of the world population is women and the rest is men. Women are contributing for social development in different ways. Rtv is very delighted to provide honor to these majestic women. Thanks to all who have patronized the event. In the program Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said, the women of the country are moving ahead keeping pace with the world. Our Prime Minister is a woman. She always pays emphasize on the matter of women development. Women are operating planes, driving trains and where they are not available? They are performing their duties in the parliament with dignity. Beside huge number of women are working in the garments sector. He also said, everybody beyond party and opinion should have to come forward to act against women repression. Women should have to be encouraged for making their way easy. The country will move forward along with the development of women. Reputed singer Abida Sultana performed songs in the ‘Joya Enlightened Women-2018’ program. Dances were performed by Nipun, Mehzabin Chowdhury, Safa Kabir and Toya. A fashion runway also was decorated based on love letters of world’s famous 8 couples. AH
